About the role
Designitch is a Dubai furniture business importing from European manufacturers, with a showroom in Al Quoz. We are hiring a Logistics & Operations Coordinator to run our freight operation end to end.
You will obtain and negotiate air and sea freight rates with our network of forwarders, working between our sales team and the forwarders on every project quote. You will coordinate the full transit of each shipment, from collection at the manufacturer through dispatch, freight and customs to arrival at our Dubai warehouse. Last-mile delivery is handled by another team.
You will keep NetSuite and our internal operations app current so the sales team always has accurate visibility of shipment movements and landed costs per project. You will prepare and follow through insurance claims for shipping damage, and provide administrative support to HR.
